This embryonic wasp nest clearly shows how wasps use different wood pulp materials to build a nest. I suspect paint or a wood treatment product has been used in the brown sections. There must be coordination between groups of wasps to determine when each colour band stops and starts? A question for my esteemed colleagues ...to be continued!

These wasps can be seen to be carrying out balls of white polystyrene insulation from behind a roof soffit. They do this to enlarge the space available to them to build their nest.

I took this lovely picture of some rats in a garden shed. A customer called me as rats were occasionally being seen in the garden.
