Another job completed recently and this one’s a good example of why doing things properly matters.
After removing the old fibreglass insulation, we found old boarding hidden underneath 🥴 This had to be completely stripped out, as it was creating an air gap between the ceiling and the insulation.
That gap might not seem like a big deal, but it reduces how effective the insulation is and can lead to heat loss.
Once everything was cleared out properly, we installed fresh 300mm Knauf insulation to current standards — making sure it’s doing the job it’s supposed to ✔️
Sometimes it’s what you don’t see that makes the biggest difference.
