We are recruiting!
Various positions available for an immediate start including:
Home Cleaning Team Members, Housekeeping, office based -laundry/ironing and bookings preparation and team leaders.

With a growing amount of regular booked cleaning hours to cover...and still a waiting list! We are looking for honest and reliable individuals to join our team. A love for cleaning is a must along with a keen eye for detail and the internal drive and work ethic to go above and beyond not just because it's your job but for yourself, it's what you do!

We are very lucky, in this current climate, to continue to have many regular long standing clients despite all the disruptions we have faced over the last couple of years and many who left us are waiting to return. We therefore require regular long standing team members who are looking for valued employment.

Clean and Content provides a regular, yet flexible, cleaning service with an added personal touch to our much valued clients. We are a small business that can offer flexibility to our team members around contracted hours, particularly during non term time for our hardworking team members who show their commitment and flexibility to us...win win for all when it's a good fit!

Pay will exceed the National Minimum Wage from day 1.
Contracted hours will be a maximum of 12 per week for a 3 month probationary period with an opportunity to increase at review.
I know 12hrs could be a barrier to our potential perfect team members, whom I am assured by my Pa are out there somewhere, but I have to protect myself and my small business...after being let down by team members who are given all of the flexibility above, the hours they need, often taking on new clients for them to get the hours they request and then they breach contract or move on quickly with potentially devastating effects on a small business. If you make yourself available, there would be more hours to commit to, always more hours!

We operate over 7 days most weeks so all team members are required to help cover weekends based on a rota.
We also have evening bookings Mon-Thurs which again are covered via a rota.

Main bulk of hours would be between 8.30am-3.30pm so can fit with school hours. Home Cleaning and housekeeping bookings are currently between 9.30am-2.30pm, office based would need to cover 8.30am starts and 3.30pm finishes.
Probationary 12 hr weeks would be over 2/3 days plus 1 weekend day per month.

We are again looking to grow and develop our wonderful team.
With a need of help for our current bookings, newly allocated bookings and a waiting list as long as my arm... We need new hardworking, reliable and trustworthy individuals to join our team.
Pay above the living wage, contracted flexible hrs, pension scheme, use of company vehicle, team treats, free parking, great team and many lovely appreciative clients!
Ideally looking initially for 3 new team members to join us ASAP:
1 part -time 20 hrs Senior level (leading to fuller time 30-35 hrs ish for the right amazing individual)
1 part time (starting at 12 hrs - 2 days, rising to more hrs with demand) home/business cleaning team member
1 part time (starting at 12-16 hrs) housekeeping Supervisor to help lead the servicing of our beautiful serviced accommodation contracts.

These are essential driver positions and over 18 years of age due to some lone working. All may include a rota of evening and weekend hrs. Trial days and probation period to ensure we are a good fit.

It's been a tough 18 months hasn't it?! I think lots of people are maybe feeling a bit flat, I know I am. With lots of changes at home and in business it's really tricky to keep going when it just seems like there's one thing after another.

Here at Clean and Content we have definitely experienced a rise in demand for our fantastic home cleaning and housekeeping services across the local area, many many recommendations...we could complete a C&C family tree with most clients linked one way or another which is great and a big thank you to those that continue to recommend us!

I must admit I am pretty nervous about taking on new employees at such a difficult time...but it is time! We have the opportunity to grow with home cleaning clients waiting for regular availability and enquiries coming in almost daily and with a number of other exciting opportunities on the horizon too.
We do not take employing new members lightly therefore you need to be what we are looking for.

We are looking for individuals who are hardworking, conscientious, kind, committed, have a real love for cleaning, a keen eye for detail and who can be flexible to meet the needs of Clean and Content. A willingness to learn new skills and fit into the Clean and Content way of completing tasks and meeting the high expectations of our clients.

The majority of work we do is very physical, we work efficiently to give our clients the best service which means you need to be willing and able to work hard.

The homes we clean vary in size and level of cleaning, we clean some large family homes and some small, compact busy family homes, you need to have the skills to manage the differences and still deliver the expected standard of clean, often going above and beyond our clients expectations.

More and more of our clients are working from home, which means you must be able to have flexibility in the home cleaning routine to a avoid areas that are occupied. Good people skills and client focus in order to get to know our clients and meet their needs.

A good understanding of the current government guidance on working in people’s homes and a willingness to meet clients requests of how we manage their home clean.

You must have or be willing to obtain a DBS certificate.

We currently cover a 12 mile radius of LA1 therefore all team members are expected to travel.
A full, clean driving license would be advantageous in order to drive company vehicles. Use of own vehicle would also be necessary at times. A willingness to travel for non drivers would also be considered for clustered clients.

Availability ... to work some evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Over 18 years of age for lone working...plus the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

And finally, well there’s a lot more but we can discuss that further...flexibility! We work off a 4 week schedule for regular clients so the majority are set days and times but we do offer our clients flexibility therefore team members need to be flexible. Especially in the current situation things are often changing and in order to meet contracted hours days/times of work may need to change, sometimes last minute!

In exchange we can offer you...

A rising number of valued and loyal clients who will look forward to your visit, appreciate your efforts, offer you praise and recommend you to their friends.

A starting rate of pay that is negotiable on experience and performance but will exceed the minimum from day 1. Monthly pay.

A lovely branded uniform, full kit of eco friendly and homemade cleaning materials with a couple of gadgets to aid your days work...I hope you like purple!

A minimum contract of agreed hours which may be extended if you make yourself available.
Starting hours of around 12 per week for trial period to ensure we are a good fit for each other before committing. Please note that the maximum cleaning hours offered are currently 28 per week...it’s really hard work!

Team treats... it’s been a while but we’ve enjoyed breakfast brunches, ice cream, afternoon tea and lunch as our team meetings.

Plus All the usual employee benefits such as, paid holidays, time off and flexible working, pension scheme.

We conducted a home visit early August after a request for regular home cleaning.
Being fully booked for regular home cleaning until mid to late September we have booked in 2 visits before a regular weekly visit will commence w/c 14th September 😊

Certainly looks clean right?

🌟Problem is, you can’t see everything that needs cleaning! All the germs and bacteria that are not visible to the naked eye.

And this particular loo is cleaned weekly by us and daily by the owner!

This is why we follow our very own cleaning methods and routines, and it shows! Yes we are very flexible and we’ll clean what you want us to clean but we don’t compromise on clean clean 😊
