Another car on my maintenance plan.

Who wouldn’t want that new car feel every month!

Sunday Service 🙏

Monthly maintenance… or whenever I remember to get it booked into the diary! 🤦‍♂️

Always a pleasure giving this one some TLC and keeping it looking even better than the day it left the showroom. 🤌

That fresh, finish never gets old!

Chester Marathon 2026

What a great day running around Chester and Wrexham!

The route was fantastic, the atmosphere was brilliant, and the support through the little villages and Chester city centre was amazing from start to finish.

Pace was good from the get-go, and I settled into a lovely rhythm, feeling strong and comfortable until mile 20, when the dreaded cramp started in both quads.

Thankfully, it wasn’t as bad as my last marathon, but it still turned the final six miles into a stop-start battle to the finish line.

BUT…

I GOT A NEW PB!

And not just by a little bit… I smashed my previous time by 30 minutes and 22 seconds!

Chester Marathon – 4:14:52

Windermere Marathon – 4:45:14

Absolutely delighted with that result, especially considering how the final few miles went.

Marathons are never easy, and there’s always something to learn. Plenty of positives to take away, a few things to work on, and hopefully more time to shave off the next one.

Onto the next one…
