We’re still busy as busy can be with lots of beaks to feed, however our finances are diminishing and the reserve we’d hoped would pay for food over the winter is rapidly being eaten away.

Fundraising has been incredibly difficult this year, however someone forgot to tell the birds there’s a global pandemic and they continue to arrive at our door.

Just when we thought we were over the worse we’ve admitted birds into our care like this magnificent peregrine falcon who required expensive veterinary treatment. So along with our anticipated winter food costs, we now have to find an additional funds to cover these fees.

Asking for money is truly the worst part of this job but we really need your help. If you follow our page, like what we do or have even called on us for assistance then please consider making a donation.

It may mean forgoing a coffee or ice cream but literally anything you can spare this payday will undoubtedly help.

NEWSPAPERS:
If anyone locally has some newspapers which they could drop off I would be really grateful.
I use newspapers in the cages which I keep in the house and this is the current view in my dining room.
The big cage, covered by the green blanket, at the bottom has Nancy, George and Fynoderee (who is remarkably clever - more on this shortly);
The three tinies are in the incubator, the other cages each contain one hoglet - all in the house so I can keep a closer eye on them.
