3. Mobile Steam Services ltd will supply a free quote to the customer.

4. Mobile Steam Services ltd reserves the right to amend initial quote if vehicle is very dirty thus increasing the duration of the clean.

5. If any estimates of how long it will take our operatives to do the job required are being provided that is only an estimate based on the average time it takes to clean a vehicle of similar size to the Customer's, it being difficult to estimate precisely how long such tasks may take and that a degree of flexibility may be required.

6. If the customer has a pet and there are areas of the car affected by pet hair an additional 20% charge will be added to the service price.

7. Customer agrees to chose a service including a list of tasks. Mobile Steam Services ltd supplies all cleaning materials and equipment needed for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with Mobile Steam Services ltd Services Ltd.

8. If the Customer choses to customise the service by altering and amending the list of areas detailed on the web site an applicable charge will be assessed.

9. All cleaning equipment shall be safe and in full working order.

10. Customer understands that the price he/she has been quoted does not include anything apart from the areas listed on the web site.

11. If an Mobile Steam Services ltd operative needs to collect keys from a third party's address outside the postal code of the premises where work is to be carried out then a £10.00 fee will apply.

12. Mobile Steam Services ltd operated in an area delimited by a radius of 20 miles from business address KY11 3BZ. This are is delimited by Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Falkirk, Livingston and Edinburgh. For traveling outside this area a logistical £10.00 fee will apply.

13. Mobile Steam Services ltd will not be responsible for damaged areas and components of the vehicle. Customer should provide a list of all damages verbally or in writing prior to commencement of task.

14. Mobile Steam Services ltd reserves the right not to continue with the task if on inspection, it is found that the area and material to be cleaned or treated is not suitable for cleaning or treatment or if the customer refuses to pay the additional fee charged due to bad state of vehicle. Mobile Steam Services ltd also will not continue with the job if power is not available or if there is interference in the work from the Customer or any other person. Vehicle Detailing Services

1. Mobile Steam Services ltd provides automotive detailing services at the rates detailed on our website: https://www.mobilesteamservices.co.uk/ .

3. Mobile Steam Services ltd also will not continue with the job if power and WATER, delivered through a hose or pressure washed provided by customer is not available or if there is interference in the work from the Customer or any other person.

4. Paint correction is the process of restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of a vehicle, mostly through the elimination of surface imperfections oxidation, or haze the surface by reflecting light off in various directions, therefore detracting from a true reflection. These imperfections include swirl marks & fine scratches, bird dropping etching & acid rain etching, hologramming & buffer trails, and random isolated deep scratches (or RIDS). The corrective process comprises of a small amount of clear coat or paint being removed from the surface with the use of abrasive polishes, which are applied and worked in with appropriate polishing machines, in order to level out the surface. Before any paint correction is undertaken, a thorough wash and decontamination of the vehicle is performed. Paintwork is properly washed and cleaned to remove any loose dirt and debris, then after the wash process is clayed with a specialist automotive clay bar, which safely removes any bonded surface contaminants such as tar spots and industrial fallout.

5. The car paint job comprises of 2 layers refer to in this section: paint and clear coat. The clear coat is the thin transparent layer sprayed on top of the coloured paint to protect it against the elements.

6. The results achieved by the paint correction process depend on a number of factors and the customers will be made aware of the expected result prior to commencement of task. For example if the clear coat has been fully removed in an area machine polishing will nor correct the scratch. If the clear coat is chipped machine polishing will not remove damage.

7. Price for paint correction varies depending of the size of the vehicle and number of stages to be performed.

8. Customer understands that the price he/she has been quoted does not include anything apart from the areas listed on the web site.

12. Maintenance Valeting Packages

1. Mobile Steam Services ltd provides automotive detailing services at the rates detailed on our website: https://www.mobilesteamservices.co.uk/

3. Mobile Steam Services ltd reserves the right to amend the initial quotation should the Customer's original requirements change.

4. The Maintenance Valeting Package is a recurring valeting service performed with a frequency determined by the customer.

5. The first step of the maintenance package comprises of the following tasks: Chemical Paint Decontamination (tar, glue, sap and fallout removal), Mechanical Paint Decontamination (clay bar), 1 Stage DA Machine Paint Correction and Sealing (minor swirls and scratches removal), 6 months gloss Paint Protection (hybrid carnauba wax), Showroom Valet (full interior, exterior, engine and boot steam cleaning), Leather or Upholstery Deep Cleaning and Protection, O-zone Odour Removal (cigarette smoke, baby sick, wet dog etc), Plastic Restauration and UV Protection, Tree Moss, Fallout and Tar Removal, Door Handle Scratches Removal.

6. The second step comprises of the regular visits to the customer location to deliver the Showroom Valet (full interior, exterior and boot steam cleaning, engine cleaned twice per year, paint protection top-up and tyre dressing)

7. If the customer signs up to receive this service for an agreed period (e.g.1 year) and cancels before the end date a 30% cancelation fee will be collected. For example: the maintenance pack chosen has a monthly frequency at a cost of £40.00 per visit. Per annum the cost of the service is £480.00. if the customers cancels after 6 month the cancelation fee will be 50% of the remaining value of £240.00.

8. Mobile Steam Services ltd Services Ltd operated in an area delimited by a radius of 20 miles from business address KY11 1FB. For traveling outside this area a logistical £10.00 fee will apply.

11. Payments

1. Payment is requested on completion on the service.

2. Payment can be made in cash on completion of the service.

3. Payment can be made with debit or credit card via bank transfer.

4. The Customer's agrees and authorizes Mobile Steam Services ltd to charge any outstanding amount owed to Mobile Steam Services ltd with regards to the cleaning services provided plus parking and congestion charges fees (if any) and up to the total amount of the booked services.

5. Customer understands that any ‘late payments’ may be subject to additional charges.

6. If payment is not made after 30 days of invoice then the account will be passed to a collections agency, after which a charge of 15% on top of the initial invoice due, will be added to the debt. You agree as part of this contract to pay this sum which represents our reasonable costs in collecting the unpaid amounts.

7. All payments must be maid in Great Britain Pounds.

5. COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS

1. Customer accepts and understands that poor service, breakage/damage or theft must be reported within 48 hours from the service date. Failure to do so will entitle customer to no refunds or recovery cleanings.

2. Mobile Steam Services ltd requires the presence of the Customer or his/hers representative in the beginning and at the end of the cleaning session so an inspection can be carried out and if any corrections are needed, should be made on the same day. If a Customer is not completely satisfied with the services, Mobile Steam Services ltd will re-clean any areas and item/s before the completion of the service on the same day

3. Mobile Steam Services ltd may take up to 5 working days to respond to a complaint.

4. Complaints are accepted in writing (text or e-mail). Complaints must be reported on completion or in the following 48-hour.

5. All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewellery, items of sentimental value, art and antiques.

6. Customer should appreciate that carpets, mats and seats often will not have a consistent appearance after cleaning by reason of differences in wear and tear. Sunlight will sometimes cause fading in areas of the carpet and cleaning can not rectify this. Stains are not always visible before dirt is removed and it may not be possible to remove those stains completely. Mobile Steam Services ltd will use its best efforts provide a good result but Customers are asked to be aware of these limitations which are common to all cleaning operations.

7. In case of damage Mobile Steam Services ltd will try to repair the item/s if it agrees that it caused the damage. If the item/s cannot be repaired Mobile Steam Services ltd will rectify the problem through its insurance company by crediting the Customer with the item/s if it is proven to be by our personnel.

8. Mobile Steam Services ltd reserves the right not to be responsible for: delay for a cleaning visit due to a traffic congestion, postponed service due to broken equipment, job not complete due to lack of hot water or power and suitable cleaning materials and/or equipment in full working order provided by the Customer, third party entering or present at Customer’s premises obstructing the cleaning process, accidental damages worth up to £40 or less. Insurance

1. Mobile Steam Services ltd has Motoring, Public and Employer's liability insurance. The policy will cover any accidental damages caused by an operator working on behalf of Mobile Steam Services ltd, reported within 48 hours of service date.

2. Insurance cover does not include anything that may break down or stop working at any time any other items, instability of which the Customer is already aware. The Customer is obliged to warn the Company or the cleaner about items that are poorly fixed or not in full working order.

3. Mobile Steam Services ltd reserves the right to refuse to share any of the confidential company’s documents.

7. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

1. Customer understands that he/she is not entitled to any refunds.

2. If the Customer is not satisfied with the cleaning service provided and a complaint has been placed in the stated 48 hours after the job has been completed, Mobile Steam Services ltd reserves the right to return a cleaner and re-clean any areas and items to Customer’s satisfaction. Therefore the Customer must allow the valeting staff to be returned and he/she should be at present at all times during the re-clean visit.

3. Mobile Steam Services ltd reserves the right to return a cleaner not more than once. Cancelation

1. Customer may cancel the scheduled cleaning job up to 48 hours prior to the agreed start time.

2. Customer agrees to pay 50% of the quote as a cancellation fee if he/she cancels or changes the date/time less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

3. Customers agrees to pay 50% of the quote as a cancellation fee in the event of a lock- out cased by our valeting staff being turned away; no one home to let them in; no water or power available at Customer's premises.

4. If an initial deposit has been paid to Mobile Steam Services ltd then Customer agrees that deposit funds may be used to cover the cancellation fee.

5. By entering into a service agreement with Mobile Steam Services ltd., the Customer agrees that after the termination of the service he/she will not hire or use any domestic services provided by a present or past valeting company introduced to the Customer by the company. If the Customer wishes to hire or use domestic services provided by such a valeting staff then he/she must pay a referral fee of £500. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant United Kingdom law, and by agreeing to be bound by them the customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom.
