Loch Leven Laundry

Richard Scott, owner of Loch Leven Laundry, is taking on an incredible challenge next week as he attempts to break his own Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon on a Swing.

From 12 noon on Thursday 6th August until 2pm on Saturday 8th August, Richard will spend 50 hours continuously on a swing at the Kinross Showground, all to raise funds for a fantastic cause – a new sensory room at Rachel House Children’s Hospice.

Many of our customers know Richard through Loch Leven Laundry and C.I.A Cleaning, but away from work he is passionate about supporting the local community and raising money for charity. We’d love it if you could get behind him by following his journey, sharing his updates and, if you’re able, making a donation. The official page for the event is World Record Attempt 2026
