Rant incoming and possible bad language.

How was your day, hope it got off to a good start!! This was the start of our day, if you think that is a pile of poo on the INSIDE doormat, you’d be correct, even managed to get a few sprays up the wall too, delightful!!

Now we have some of the best cleaners in the valley, they put up with so much and get on with it happily, well most of the time Leah Dallas, but this is where I draw the line. The poo is bad, it’s actually horrific to walk into that first thing on our busiest day of the week but look at the state of the rest of the property, is this honestly acceptable in anyone’s opinions, this wasn’t 5 year olds, it was only 2 grown men!!

If someone has happily rented out their home to you, treat it with respect. If mummy has kindly paid for a lovely house for you for a week whilst you look after her dog, treat it like your mums house!!

This house would usually take one cleaner a few hours, today we had to pull an extra 3 girls quite literally out of my arse, to have this property turned around and ready for the new guests, arrange a locksmith, remove damaged items and scrub SOMEONES poo off the walls. We all work our arses off, there’s not one of us who sits in an office and deals with enquiries or fixing this disgrace, that is done whilst I was doing a further 4 properties on my own and these poor girls had to face that then go back to their original rota, it is utterly disgraceful and quite honestly not acceptable.

My Mondays and Fridays are spend cleaning and fielding calls and texts about early entry or late check outs, all of us go out of our way to make this happen for you but then you leave places like this or the other thing, dirty nappies all over the place, rubbish strewn everywhere, dirty tissues all over the floor, I honestly could go on, us cleaners are the ones breaking our backs to make sure you have the best possible arrival and are comfortable and the biggest tip we’ve had so far is a fresh pile of poo meeting us on the doormat!! Cheers

Treat these homes as if they were your own and please for gods sake, have some respect, I’ll be lucky if I have half of my staff back tomorrow and I don’t blame them, we are literally broken and so, so sick of this, dirty campers, I’d take them over this any day!!

It’s been a busy season, in between catching Covid and all the usual, exciting things happening!! A wee sneak peak at the new Seelie House in Kingussie, 8 stunning self serviced apartments finished to such a high standard!! It’s exciting to see this come together and will be so good for the village and surrounding areas!!
