Pritchards Automotive (sister company to the AutoGlanz brand) is a family run classic car restoration & vehicle body repair specialist based on the outskirts of Kington Herefordshire.

Due to ever growing work load & future plans we are looking to increase the size of our team in multiple new job roles.

Apprentice opportunity - Pritchards Automotive are looking to offer an opportunity to the younger generation to learn our hugely satisfying industry.

This role would suit a school/college leave or younger adult looking to embark on a career path within the automotive restoration/repair industry. No prior experience within the industry is necessary (although an advantage) but a passion for the automotive industry is essential.

The ideal candidate will be a well motivated person with aspirations to learn hands on skills. Punctuation and time keeping are a must. The candidate must be willing to work alongside a highly skilled workforce, learning skills in a hands on approach to every aspect of the day’s workload. The candidate will also need to use their own initiative and think for themselves during busy periods. Cleanliness in the workspace, organisation and a keen eye to detail are also important.

Deja vu 😳 almost to the day a year ago we were fitting a new quarter panel to a VW transporter t5 and here we are again a year on doing the exact same thing! Love doing these big panel jobs from time to time 👊

Beetle progress.

All metal work now complete, it’s been a long old trip with this one with a building move in the middle but we finally have the body in epoxy ready for shaping and final paint 🥵 all finished in NOVOL of course.

We will hopefully have steady progress on this one now with the finish line in sight 🏁

We’ve been a bit quiet, but there’s a good reason for it!

We’re currently moving into our new premises (Still within Kington). Our old unit is now empty, and we are working towards getting the new place up and running as soon as possible.

This is the end of an era, but we look forward to what the future holds at the new place!
