Back for our 5th year! We are fundraising for the Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal and Su***de Prevention UK, with all proceeds being split equally between the two charities - 100% of all proceeds go to our chosen charities.
Over £15,000 raised in 2024, taking our total raised since 2021 to just over £25,900! Our 2025 target is £14,000 to take our overall total to £40,000!
Please follow our page for updates, upcoming event info and in case of any weather related changes.
Over 150,000 lights, Christmassy scents and bubbles fill the air every night + Christmas music every Fri/Sat/Sun and from the 17th-26th Dec + special events including mascot visits on selected dates!
Our display contains lots of interactivity, with various buttons, as well as motion, voice and action based interactivity, our display is unlike any other in the UK. Watch out for our moving elf on the shelf elves, they are known to catch out unsuspecting visitors! There are also 20 elves to find throughout the display - can you spot them all?
Create a lasting memory of your visit by taking a photo with our full sized Wallace & Gromit sculptures, kindly loaned to us by a local family for our visitors to enjoy.
Donations can be made at our secure donation station at the display using card or cash, or drop your coins into our magical wishing well and watch the magical mist grow. There are also QR codes dotted around thr display for online donations - boost your donation by 25% at no cost to you by adding Gift Aid when donating by card at the donation station or online.
Tips for your visit:
* Help us protect the Christmas magic by not leaning on the fences or touching the display. Please also ensure your children do not kick or throw stones as this could injure other visitors or cause damage to the display. The elves are watching 👀 and CCTV is in operation.
* Keep an eye on your children at all times as we are located on a busy road.
* Plan your route as there are road works and road closures in the area.
* Park safely, do not block driveways and avoid the side roads as they are narrow and comprised of driveways and garages.
* You may have to park in Winterbourne (Hicks Common Road, BS36 1EH) and walk to the display as parking on Down Road is limited.
* Pushchairs - due to the increase in visitor numbers and limited space, please can we ask visitors to avoid bringing pushchairs into the display when it is busy. There is a large space to the left of our driveway, by our neighbours front door where pushchairs can be left (at the owners risk). Please do not leave pushchairs near the display entrance as this also restricts the flow of visitors - pushchairs left here may be moved into the area to the left of our driveway.
Mon-Thu tends to be quieter, especially before mid December, or arriving at 4:30 or after 8pm, however this can vary. Weekends and from mid Dec can get busy, and this is often when parking can become an issue.
A huge thank you to Winterbourne Cuts for being our lead sponsor, and for everything else they do for our local community. Their generous support has enabled us to make our display interactive! And a huge thank you to all the other amazing local businesses who have supported the display through sponsorship. It simply wouldn’t be possible to operate a display at this scale without their support. All of our sponsors are tagged in this post, and you’ll also spot them on our sponsors board at the display - please do support these amazing business’s who demonstrate a clear compassion to give back to their local community.
