Our New Website Is LIVE!

We’re so excited to share that the brand‑new Wickseys website has officially launched and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out.

A huge thank you to Leigh at Next Step Sites for his patience, creativity, and hard work pulling all our information together. He’s taken our ideas, our services, our story, and turned them into a website that truly feels like us.

From the whole team: thank you, Leigh you’ve been brilliant.

A Special Day at Grange Lane 1st August 2026.

As North Ferriby FC welcomes Cleethorpes Town for their final pre-season fixture, they also come together to mark a significant occasion as this match becomes the inaugural Colin Wicks Memorial Fixture.

Colin's contribution, dedication and presence meant so much to so many associated with the clubs and the local football community. This fixture provides an opportunity to remember, celebrate and honour his legacy in the way he would have loved most, with football bringing people together.

We look forward to seeing players, supporters, friends and families unite for what promises to be a memorable although emotional for us afternoon.

The Villagers entertain their last pre season fixture as they welcome to Grange Lane & as such will be inaugural Colin Wicks Memorial Fixture.

Bar & facilities open from 1PM and Card & Cash payments on the gate.

A Little Update for Our Lovely Wickseys Community

To all our customers past, present and future we just want to say a huge thank you.

Over the last few months we’ve had some truly wonderful feedback, and one request kept popping up…

“Could you stay open a little later for those of us who work?”

After a team chat (and a few cups of tea!) we’re really pleased to announce that starting Wednesday 5th August, we will now be open:

👉 Wednesdays: 9am – 6pm

All other days will stay the same:

👉 Monday–Saturday: 9am – 5pm
👉 Sundays: Closed — no work on a Sunday although you may see us at some events!

We hope this helps make life a little easier for those who can’t get to us during the usual hours.

Wickseys is heading to the Summer Fair!

We’re so excited to be joining the Lavender Court Summer Fair & Stalls this Sunday at the Nafferton Recreation Ground.

It’s set to be a brilliant afternoon full of fun, colour, and community spirit — and we’re proud to support an event that raises funds for the lovely residents of Lavender Court.

We’ll be there with our stall, smiles, and plenty of goodies — so come along, say hello, enjoy the fair, and help support a fantastic cause.

Wickseys had a pop up shop at Busy Bees Sewing Today!

We had such a lovely morning at Busy Bees Sewing group run by BeesWing in Middleton on the Wolds Village Hall today. A huge thank you to everyone who browsed, chatted and supported our little pop‑up it was wonderful to meet so many friendly faces.

Our table was packed with sewing and knitting goodies, including:

📌 Pin cushions
🎁 A few gorgeous gift items too
