🎉 New online Dressage Winter league 🎉
The clocks have turned and the darker nights are creeping in, so why not have a go at Excel Equestrians new online dressage! Earn points towards the winter league where the overall winner and runner up will receive a championship rosette and sash as well as some fabulous prizes 🏆
Step one: Send your entries into Excel Equestrian Services with your name, horses name, address and which test you’d like to compete in.
Step two: Receive your entry confirmation and rider number. Send payment of your entry with your rider number reference.
Step three: Film your test in the leisure of your own arena (or field!) retake it as many times as you need and send your final video to Excel Equestrian Services.
Step four: Sit back and relax! Entries will judged by Trainee BD Judge, Ami. Results will be posted on the page, you will be sent your score sheet and those placed 1st - 6th will be sent their rosettes and prizes in the post!
Rules of entry
1. Entries made are non refundable unless Excel Equestrian makes the decision to cancel the event. Competitors will be contacted individually to arrange a refund or transfer entry to the next competition.
2. While it is not a requirement to wear a shirt and jacket or plait up (although there is a prize for the best turned out!), riding hats, gloves and suitable footwear are required. Any video entries made where the above attire is not adhered to will be automatically disqualified.
3. Tests must be ridden with clear and appropriately placed markers.
4. Callers may be used during the test but are only permitted to read out the movements.
5. View of both horse and rider must not be obscured during the test.
6. BITLESS WELCOME however headcollers are not permitted. Horses competed bitless must wear a suitable bitless bridle. Other bit and tack restrictions according to the BD rules must be adhered to.
7. Videos must not be cut or edited once the combination has started the test.
8. Any complaints must be made directly to Excel Equestrian Services within 1 week of results being posted online.
