We’ve been out this Sunday giving a lovely customer’s home a good clean ✨🏡

But we need to settle something…

Apparently there’s a bit of controversy flying around social media about Hoover Lines 👀😂

You know the ones… those perfectly satisfying lines that say “yep, these stairs have definitely been hoovered!”

But it seems they’re dividing opinion!

So where do you stand?

With the hosepipe ban and drought status currently in place, I’ve had quite a few customers asking whether I’m still allowed to carry out exterior cleaning.

The answer is YES! 🙌

As a professional exterior cleaning business, we’re exempt from the hosepipe restrictions when using water as part of our work, so your window cleaning and exterior cleaning can continue as normal.

So don’t worry if you see me outside with the water-fed pole… I’m not breaking the rules! 😂

And while I’m doing your windows, just ask nicely and I might accidentally give the flowers a little sprinkle on the way past… 🌸😂💦

One week on from surgery…

I’ve discovered two things:

1. Parent duty during half term is a full-time job with no tea breaks.
2. Watching everyone else work while I’m stuck at home is absolute torture!

Keeping busy with the kids has definitely helped the time pass, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t itching to get back out there. I never thought I’d actually miss cleaning windows and blasting patios… but here we are!

On a serious note though, I just want to say thank you.

To everyone who’s booked work in while I’ve been recovering, and to all of my regular customers who continue to support me month after month – thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Running a small family business can be a bit of a rollercoaster, and the support you’ve shown me over the last week has meant more than you’ll ever know. Every booking, recommendation and kind message reminds me why I do what I do.

I’ll be back doing what I love before long… although I might have to pretend I’m not enjoying the first few days back after all this sitting around!

Thank you all for sticking with me. I genuinely have the best customers anyone could ask for. 💙

Last few jobs done this morning before I head off to have my little finger removed ✂️ Yes, you read that right.

It’s a drastic way to save money on gloves, but every little helps!

I’ll be out of action for a few days while I recover, but our interior team will be carrying on as normal. I’ll still be answering calls, messages and enquiries, so don’t hesitate to get in touch for any of your interior or exterior cleaning needs.

Reviews like this are exactly why we do what we do.

We had a customer get in touch at 9:30 last night, and by this afternoon their gutters, fascias, soffits and windows were all cleaned.

We take pride in being honest. If something doesn’t need doing, we’ll tell you. We’d rather build trust than try to sell work that isn’t necessary. If we recommend something extra, it’s because we genuinely believe it’s in your best interests, not ours.

This one started thanks to a bit of luck! 🍀

The customer won a free clean voucher that I donated to a local raffle. Before I even arrived, they’d already asked me to quote for the rest of the garden too… around 70sqm of porcelain patio.

I can’t blame them really… if you’ve got a free clean, you might as well get the whole garden looking spot on while you’re at it! 😁

Out on the rounds this morning, apparently I've been promoted to "If you see him, grab him" status. 😂

I was working at one customer's house when her friend popped her head out and asked if I could nip round and do hers while I was already in the area.

Honestly, I can't blame her—it makes perfect sense! So if you ever spot me out on the rounds and you've got something that needs doing, don't be afraid to ask. If I can fit you in, I will. Worst I can say is, "Not today"... best case, it's another job ticked off your list. 👍
