Is it just me or can a carpet bring back lovely memories of your childhood?😁 This stair carpet was in my gran and grandpa's house in the 70's when they babysat me. The house then went to my aunt and uncle and now my cousin and her husband stay in it. As soon as I saw it, my mind went back 40 odd years. I think it may be going to carpet heaven soon though. They don't make them like they used to, that's for sure.

I can't believe it's 23 years this week since I started trading. Time flies when you are having fun! Talking of fun, June will be a busy month for Scotland football matches. It will (hopefully) include a trip to Cardiff, then another to Ireland and Armenia. Please get in touch asap if you want any work done in the first half of June. Thanks to everyone for your custom over the last 23 years.

This is the 3rd office I've cleaned that needs COVID sticker residue removed. Carpets clean up fine with the right solutions. Anyone else having the same issue please get in touch. (Turn sound off. It's my spare machine, not me, that's squeaking 😜)

It wasn't the best view from my job today (unless Killie are winning at Firhill) and it was quite a tough job. Removing the lines of marks left after COVID one way system sheets were taken from the carpet. A lot of offices may have this issue now that COVID restrictions are being lifted so give me a shout to see if the marks can be removed before going to the expense of replacing.

One of my more unusual jobs. To clean upholstery on a boat. I'm glad my customer was there to tell me which boat as there are thousands of them. It was fun and games getting down the jetty then getting my equipment on to the boat. My body is no longer designed to get into such small spaces but where there's a will there's a way

A couple of before and after photos of a job i did yesterday. Also, a very happy Jewish New Year to all my customers celebrating it. Finally, I have a minor knee operation on Sept 14th so I'll be off for a couple of weeks so taking bookings now for the last week of September and into October.

22 years ago today I started trading with my first, leased (in case things didn't work out) van. 22 years later and I've decided to invest in my 3rd van. My current one will go into retirement having served me well since 2009 and done about 135,000 miles. Here's a "n**e" photo before it gets decaled. On another matter, I'll be taking a week off at the start of June and hopefully going to Scotland's Euro games so if you want me in June, please book early.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs Judith Rosenberg. A customer of mine and the last survivor of Auschwitz in Scotland. Please take a few minutes to read her story. An amazing lady. May she Rest In Peace.

The 97-year-old was sent to Auschwitz in 1944 but survived and then met a handsome Scottish officer who helped lift the shadow of atrocity from her life.

Hi everyone, and a very happy new year to you all. Hopefully 2021 is much better for us all than 2020 was. Due to the current Coronavirus restrictions, unless it is deemed as essential, I will only be able to work in East Ayrshire and only when it is safe to do so and social distancing can be observed.
