My customers side gate steps had no mortar between the bricks and were sitting on and supported by a very rotten sleeper. Hard to believe this was the original showhome of the estate.
So I have removed said sleeper (or what was left of it) and relaid an array of different spare block paving from around the garden. Made a much safer, sturdier and definitely better looking than the previous set of steps. And no excessive cost for materials.
And to any bricklayers out there, who are not impressed with my work, this was more of a jigsaw puzzle than fully planned architectural constructed steps.
Oh and I fitted a discrete handle for support too.

My customer had 2 very dilapidated and rotten barn doors, that were only just hanging on to the hinges....literally on the last few threads.
So i have made her these 2 bespoke barn doors and have a very happy customer who doesn't fear the doors will land on top of her, if she opened them (that's the old ones I'm refering to btw).

My customer wanted most of his raised planter sleepers replaced.
After some heavy lifting, elbow grease and of course a load of tlc, we have 2 solid, lined planters ready for some fresh ideas.

My customer had a Rose bush that looked like it was giving up. But after a wee conversation I advised the rose was rootbound in the pot it was in and just needed some space to grow.
So after a wee chat about the design i built this planter with a difference.
My customer has a love for all things fairy and has numerous figurines dotted around her garden, like a fairy kingdom.
So what we are designing is a tree house inspred fairy kingdom rose planter. The rose will intertwine through different buildings/treehouses etc. It is an ongoing process so i will add and update further.
The first part were these hand carved and hand painted fairy sized doors.

My customer had a very sentimental decking made by her late husband 30 years ago. Unfortunately the years of weather had taken its toll on the original and had rotten through to the structural elements.
So I followed her husbands original plan and have produced an almost identical new raised decking using the original Iron work too.
I have hopefully brought this garden, well decking at least, back to how her late husband intended it to be.

My customers front door porch had seen better days but was structurally sound and strong.
So with a replacent of the fascia boards and refelted the roof with trims. A good paint strip, sand, fill, paint and paint again. Oh and of course a wee bit of elbow grease and tlc......and we have a fresh new looking porch.
I'm happy to say I have a very happy customer with the peace of mind, that a part of her porch will not land on her head.

My customers pool heater unit mount and maintenance chamber covers were in need of replacement.
So I made a bespoke strong heater unit mount platform (very heavy by the way) with legs to give extra support into the 1.2 metre deep maintenance chamber and 2 removable weightbearing covers to allow access to the pool ladder and maintenance chamber.
The original pool heater mount is in the last image, and you can see the need for replacement.

Exterior porch, original, was in a scary condition and literally fell apart in my hands. My customer hasnt wanted to use the front door in fear of it landing on his head. Following my customers specifications, i have built him a new porch to keep his head dry on those wet rainy days.

These were completed before storms Dudley and Eunice. And still standing and weather proof.
Has Dudley and Eunice played havoc with your fences?
Do they need replacing or just some TLC?

Actially, I've lost 2 fence posts and 3 panels myself to Eunice, so need to make my own home secure first. Sorry, but the security of my family is of paramount importance to me
