Today, we’re celebrating the retirement of Antonietta from our Sewing Department after an incredible 27 years with Fibreline.

Since joining the company in 1999, Antonietta has been a truly valued member of the team. Her experience, kindness and willingness to help others have made a lasting difference, particularly through the support and training she has given to so many new starters over the years.

While we are delighted for Antonietta as she begins this exciting new chapter, we are also very sorry to see her leave. She will be greatly missed by everyone at Fibreline.

Thank you, Antonietta, for your many years of hard work, loyalty and friendship. We wish you a long, happy and well-deserved retirement! 🎉💐

What a day at the Bradford Dragon Boat Festival! 🐉🚣

A huge well done to Team Fibreline, who finished with the 6th fastest time of the day, won the Minor Final, and came 4th overall.

Most importantly, we raised £84.50 for Homeless Not Hopeless.

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support us in the rain, and to everyone who kindly donated. Your support really does mean a lot.

Another tough goodbye for us this week as we say farewell to Andrea, who has been part of the Fibreline family for an incredible 15 years.

Andrea is emigrating, and while we’re all really sad to see her go, we’re excited for her and this new chapter ahead.

Thank you, Andrea, for all your hard work, loyalty and friendship over the years. You’ll be missed by your team and by everyone at Fibreline.

Today we celebrated a truly remarkable milestone as we said farewell (and a huge thank you!) to Julie Holdsworth after more than 33 years with Fibreline.
Julie has been part of the fabric of Fibreline for over three decades, playing a key role as Head of Finance & Payroll and serving as a trusted member of our senior leadership team. Her dedication, commitment and loyalty have helped shape the business we are today.
To mark the occasion, the morning shift gathered outside while Managing Director Richard Prudhoe presented Julie with a few small tokens of our appreciation. A pillow seemed particularly appropriate after 33 years of hard work!
While we'll certainly miss Julie's knowledge, support and steady hand, we're excited for her as she begins her next adventure. Knowing Julie, retirement won't involve much sitting still—we suspect she'll be grabbing it by the scruff of the neck and keeping busier than ever.
From everyone at Fibreline, thank you Julie for everything you've done. Enjoy the freedom, make wonderful memories, and don't forget to think of us occasionally while you're not setting an alarm clock!

🚣‍♀️ The Fibreline team is back in the boat!

We’re proud to be taking part in the Bradford Dragon Boat Festival for the third year running, raising money for our chosen charity for 2026, Homeless Not Hopeless.

Training is already under way, and our first session on Saturday was a very wet one — but spirits were high and the team is ready to paddle hard for a brilliant cause!

What a fantastic day we had over the Bank Holiday weekend for our work social trip to York Races! ☀️

The sun was shining, the company was great, and everyone had a brilliant time enjoying a well-earned day out together.

Now it’s back to focus as we get stuck into our training ready for the Bradford Dragon Boat Festival in July! 🐉🚣

Despite a bit of miserable weather, our annual Fibreline Spring Walk on Sunday was a great success! 🌦️

We had 12 people (and 2 very enthusiastic dogs 🐾) take on the 5-mile route together—proof that a little rain doesn’t dampen team spirit.

With our usual £10 donation per head, we’re proud to have raised £140 for this year’s chosen charity, Homeless Not Hopeless. An amazing effort for a fantastic cause.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and made the day such a positive one—we’re already looking forward to the next one!
