The bit is the first thing I clean when I take a bridle apart.

I also check it over for any signs of wear and tear and any sharp (or otherwise) areas that may irritate or cause injury to the sensitive mouth.

🚿You wash your bits so please wash your horse's!

🧼Its very important to keep your horse's bit clean. For hygiene, health and to stop any rubbing to the lips.

🍴Its like eating with a dirty knife and fork. We just don't do it so please make sure your horse doesn't either.

Regular cleaning and TLC helps to prevent cracking like this 👇 and ensures the longevity of your equipment.
