IM ACTUALLY BURSTING WITH PRIDE !

When I started Task carpet cleaning I was always realistic. I knew that I would never become a millionaire. I never truly wanted that. All i ever wanted, was to provide a fantastic service to my clients and provide an income for my family.

TODAY HOWEVER, I feel as if I have won the lottery, and that im the RICHEST man alive.

OUR daughter MISS KIMBERLEY WORSLEY the (K) in Task carpet cleaning, has, after 3 long and stressful years, GRADUATED with 2:1 in Teaching.

She has attended University, placements, worked along side me AND started her own business, all in the aim of furthering her future career.

Today, as her Mam and I are watching her graduate we will be and ARE, bursting with pride. I, especially wondering how on earth did I raise such a powerful, intelligent beautiful caring women. (Definitely her mother's influence)

I always said to kimberley she must aim high and achieve a career where she could support herself, and be non beholden to any man or women. TODAY she has done just that, and we are so PROUD ❤️❤️.

Yes i have a secret.

Yes its taken a lot of courage to say it.

Yes im slightly ashamed to admit it.

Yes never would have i thought it would effect me.

But here it is !!!!!

Im actually watching FOOTBALL ⚽️!!!!

I have tuned in to all England football games. I have actually had a b**r whilst watching the match, even though i was cheering on the wrong team (who knew we had a red strip ?)

But hey huh im actually enjoying it.

I made a decision with myself, to watch every ENGLAND game, tonight I may regret it. 1am REALLY. The last time I was up till 1am was to catch a Ryanair flight to sunny Spain with Mrs W.
Ah well alarm set, job booked in for 11am and caffeine free coffee at the ready ( got to sleep you know)

Honestly a few weeks ago MRS W and I lost or senses and went camping for 2 nights. FREEZING was an understatement.

Fast forward to this previous week and WOW its couldn't be more diffrent.

It got so bad (K) in TAS'K' had to keep using a wet towel on her head, in an attempt to keep cool whilst preforming life saving treatment to our clients carpets.

Bella got out her dog pool and has spent more time in it than a fish in an aquarium.

On the plus side, carpets are drying quicker than ever, and I have in my possession, 6 industrial turbo fans that I may put on ebay and retire early lol 😆

Its been a very busy day today. From staircase, to living rooms, full houses, then to finish a lovely rug and 2 armchairs.

Best bit is i actually remembered to take some photos. How these social media people do it for a living is beyond me? So many buttons to press and dont get me started on 'effects' who wants dog ears etc on a photo 🤔

Its coming up to that time of year when we get a few calls to rectify previous carpet cleaners mistakes (usually a smell has occurred after cleaning)

9 times out of 10 times the client has messaged us for a quote, but has declined our services favouring a cheaper quote.
I fully understand, and in today's climate i can fully see why they would try and save a couple of pounds.
But unfortunately that cheaper quote may not be fully trained and insured. They may also either block your messages or calls if there is a complaint.

This is where we are diffrent. We pride ourselves in delivering a great professional service, we are fully insured and trained, and most importantly, should there ever be a concern or problem arise, we will always be contactable and will endeavour to address any issue.

Sometimes cheap is not always best.

The last few days have been very busy.
From coffee ☕️ stains to bedroom carpets.

The challenge for today was to clean a living room, stairs, and bedroom for a lovely client who had mobility issues and needed the carpet left dry. Happy to report it was successful.

I have to say im really enjoying this bright 🌞 thing in the sky. It makes such a difference cleaning carpets and upholstery wearing my shorts and not hearing my knees knocking because of the cold.
