Do you know how the cluster fly survives in the winter?
During autumn, the cluster fly lays its eggs in warm places. The eggs will hatch throughout the winter and continue to reproduce, meaning the cycle continues.
So, this can all take place in our homes, behind walls, in lofts, garages, and storage spaces. Various entry points are; cracks in window frames, door trims, or even utility outlet pipes.
Cluster flies are known as indoor pests during the winter months so, just because you may not see them, they are still around.
