Eligibility isn’t straightforward but Core’s energy and compliance specialists are here to help.

The products you manufacture are defined by the World Customs Harmonised Commodity and Description code (also known as an HS6 code)

Eligibility depends on:
• Specific SIC and HS6 codes
• Sector-level electricity intensity
• Site configuration and MPAN structure

Exemptions are applied site-by-site, not business-wide and for some businesses, BICS could mean £35 to £40 per MWh in savings.
