This morning we had a mishap! Well when I say mishap I mean an invasion! There I am minding my business ironing the lovely Becki's clothes when I saw something move. My initial thought was wasp so I moved and then .... I screamed like the girl I am 🤣

I'm not scared of spiders by any stretch but this one was inviting itself for breakfast and I was breakfast! Think Lord of the Rings when Bilbo was waiting to be devoured.. I was there. 2 of the kids went hunting as last seen it was taking charge of the ironing board.. I'll share my house with it but not the ironing board 😁

Suffice to say we can't find it. Wherever this huge arachnid is hiding it's doing a fine job. I started at 5am so thankfully can vacate the board now for the weekend. The spider can take his huge self and vacate 🤞🏻and if you heard me scream I'm sorry 😂😂

It's looking to be another busy week and I'm already fully booked for this week and almost full for next week. Please be mindful that I'm currently working reduced hours due to some health problems but will always fit bookings in at the earliest opportunity 😁

I'll be closed for just over a week at the end of September as I'm going away. I finish on 25th September and return on 5th October. I'll speak to any fortnightly customers on that week to rearrange nearer the time 💙

Just a pre warning for tomorrow. Thursday I was unwell and had to cancel/move some work for both that day and Friday. Whilst I've felt better over the weekend I've just been unwell again and depending how I feel tomorrow I may have to make short notice cancellations again. If that's the case I'll rearrange those for later in the week and send my apologies. I'll update relevant customers in the morning. Thanks as always for your support xx

Inside temperature vs outside temperature! No wonder I was slightly warm given the temps of the last 2 days 😂 Another warm one tomorrow so I'll do another comparison and see what I get. I may need to invest in a bigger or more effective fan 😂

Spotted this earlier and although I sometimes worry my prices aren't competitive or affordable I'm realising they're realistic. For context this business operates a couple or so hours north of here so similar demographics I would say. Absolutely not knocking another business but for me personally those prices wouldn't bring me much work
