DIY attempt gone wrong? ⚠️

T-Cut by hand ✋⛔️️ attempting to remove a scratch left marring and heavy haze.

We're all for DIY attempts but if you're ever unsure, Sometimes it's better to just bring it to us to start for professional, show room results.

We have invested in all the tools, pads, multiple grades of compounds and everything else needed to safely polish your paint to suit any car.

This Volvo XC60 came in for a Machine Polish to enhance the paint and remove this haze. The scratch was made much less noticeable too. Outside in natural light it was barely visible whilst preserving factory finish clear coat.

The job was finished with a premium 3 Year Ceramic Coating

⚠️ How far would you travel for a Detail? ⚠️

Well this lovely little Guacamole Green 💚 Fiat Panda 4x4 has just driven 4 hours from Yorkshire for a Detail (with the added bonus of a holiday on Sunny Anglesey) THAT'S DEDICATION!

The story goes as such.

Those of us who have been following Detail Bug for a while will know we used to own a Fiat Panda, the same colour.

Well our lovely new client came across our work whilst searching for Guacamole Green Fiat Panda images and decided there and then, that we just had to work our magic and transform theirs the same we did our own. No one else would do!

As a Fiat fanatic our client wanted the best we could do in a day, despite very tired faded paint, contamination galore and not being cleaned in years.

So, with our time limit set and conscious that I had a huge expectation and reputation to uphold the Panda 4x4 got a full interior valet, steam clean, exterior decontamination and Machine Polish with an All In One to ensure glossy, smooth results and a protective coating to make maintaining the finish easier. Of course all the finishing touches to glass, trim and tyres were included!

Aftercare products were supplied to DIY and keep that Panda gleaming 🐼 🐼 💚

Quick sunday evening wash and engine bay clean on the Bug. Little bugglet James helped out with the washing!

Looking ok for a 25 year old car!

Scuttle panel came off to clear drainage holes, Wheels Deep cleaned, annual fallout removal and parked up inside (potentially for a quick polish this week) and sort out some niggles.

Going for some underbody work and sills in the coming weeks. Starting to get it m.o.t ready and more presentable for shows.
