🚛 Class 2 Tanker Driver – Full Time

Hirst Environmental Services Ltd is looking for a Class 2 Tanker Driver to join our experienced team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability and the opportunity to work with a well-established company in the environmental services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Driving and operating Class 1 & 2 vacuum tankers
• Collecting, transporting, and disposing of waste water and other liquid waste
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and service records
Requirements:
• Class 1&2 (Category C) licence – essential.
• CPC and Digi Card – required.
• Experience working with waste water or liquid waste preferred if not Training can be given.
• A good work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime as required.

Experienced, competent HGV driver, required for tanker work. Up to date CPC's. Epic card/cscs card, would be an advantage. Working with waste water products. Must be fit and able to work days/nights/weekends as required by the Co. Commitment and reliability a must, time keeping is essential. Must be able to work using your own initiative. Customer service skills, to be polite and courteous at all times. Cleanly presented with our Co PPE/uniform. Complete time sheets and any other paperwork as required. Keeping Co vehicles clean and tidy throughout. Other potential duties may be tipper/hooklift work. Ideally live local. Knowledge of the Devon & Cornwall area beneficial as must be able to find locations. CV required in the first instance. Good rates of pay.
