It’s with great sadness that I share the news that I’ve had to close Holme Valley Cleaning Services Ltd due to ill health. This hasn’t been an easy decision, but it’s the right one for me at this time.

I want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to every single person who has supported me over the past 3 years. My amazing clients, supporters, and everyone who recommended, shared, and trusted me in their homes and businesses. Handling Sensitive Property Clean-Ups with Care

Cleaning a property that had been occupied by someone who had been struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.

Situations like this require much more than just cleaning. Every item in the property had to be carefully sorted through to check for needles and other contaminated materials to ensure the environment could be made safe again.

During the process we created two separate piles:
• Items that needed to be safely removed and disposed of.
• Personal belongings that were set aside so the individual could return and collect them.

When dealing with sensitive situations like this, it’s incredibly important to tread carefully. Strict procedures must be followed, along with health and safety protocols. Appropriate PPE is essential, including protective equipment such as Kevlar gloves to reduce the risk of injury.

Above all, the goal is to make the space safe again while treating a person’s belongings with dignity, respect, and care. Every situation has a human story behind it, and it’s important that this is never forgotten.

We were recently called to an office space after a roof leak caused water damage throughout the area.
Leaks like this don’t just leave visible mess, they can lead to damp, staining, bacteria growth, and unpleasant smells if not dealt with properly.
Our job was to:

✔️ Clean and sanitise all affected surfaces
✔️ Remove residue and water staining
✔️ Prevent odours and bacteria build-up
✔️ Get the space back to a clean, safe working environment

The result? An office that felt fresh, hygienic, and ready to be used again.
Water damage can escalate quickly if it’s not handled correctly. If you ever find yourself in this situation, it’s important to act fast.

So… here goes. This is me! 😊

This morning I was out walking in the beautiful countryside right on my doorstep. There’s something so refreshing about breathing in that cold, clean air and just appreciating the peace and quiet around you. No music, no podcasts, no phone. Other than taking pictures. 📸 I love exploring and being in nature. It helps me reset, clear my mind and feel grateful for the simple things like blue skies, frosty fields and that crunch of snow under your boots.

Running a business can be busy and full on, but moments like these keep me grounded, focused and motivated for the days ahead.
Thank you to those who’ve encouraged me to show up as myself a little more. So you’ll be seeing more of me as well as my work.
