Hi guys, I will be sending out a message to all my Monday customers, it’s my baby boys 15th birthday, 😱 15! Meaning I’ve been running the ironing den nearly 9 years!! 😱😱

So please look out for a message from me over the weekend with a slight time change for collection,

Thank you to all my wonderful ladies for allowing me to move collections to have today off to celebrate my little lady’s 7th birthday! Scarlett has had the best birthday spending the day at roves farm, having nails done, then a birthday tea with her family, and then a little scooter ride in the dark on her new scooter! She’s really appreciated me being with her all day, and even said to me tonight “mummy I’m so happy you don’t have to work on my birthday” so thank you all from both me and the birthday girl! ♥️♥️

Morning all! Hope your enjoying this lovely sunny Friday!

Just a little message.. a bit of a plea… i know everyone is busy and people often forget that I’m coming, but if your not going to be in for collection or delivery could you please please please let me know before hand, I’ve had quite a few wasted journeys this week, which costs me time and fuel, therefore for any wasted journeys I will have to add on a surcharge of £2.50 to cover my fuel and time, this surcharge will not apply if I am notified before attempted delivery or collection, I will always do my best to accommodate another time to collect or deliver if you let me know before hand,

Hi all! I hope your all well! just a very quick update from me, I am back to work next week, yay!! I will restart on Monday 8th! I am currently making my way through texting you all, but if you don’t get a message and would like a collection please give me a message or call, I am expecting to be busy next week from the responses I’ve already had so you may have to bear with me for a week or so until I can catch up! Hi all! I hope your all well! I’m so excited to be able to have my little Scarlett back to school hopefully on Monday the 8th!! Which means I can then go back to work! I haven’t had confirmation from her school yet to say it will definitely be the 8th but once I have I will update you all as to when I will be back!
But how exciting to finally be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel! I will keep this page updated and as soon as I know a start date I will get you all booked in!! 🙌🏻😁 stay safe everyone! See you all super soon! Xx

Hi everyone!! How are you!? My word it has been so long since I’ve seen you all!! I cannot believe we are in February already and I’ve not seen any of you at all in 2021! I’m really missing my doorstep chats with you all! Hope your all keeping ok, staying safe and coping with lockdown and home schooling! I certainly am no teacher but miss Scarlett is coping much better this time around with the home schooling, so we’re taking the little wins when we can 😁, stay safe everyone and I hope to see you all real soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Happy new year to all my lovely customers!

What a year 2020 has been! Thank you to each and every one of you for continuing to support me in what has been a very stressful and worrying year for everyone! I hope 2021 is a better year for us all, I hope to see those who I cannot come to very soon!

Hi everyone.... firstly a huge huge thank you to everyone who has sent me Christmas cards and gifts! I’ve been blown away by your generosity!! Your all very kind and have all made me smile and feel very loved, so thank you!!

Secondly the rubbish bit, after hearing the new tier changes tonight, it means that I will not be able to travel to anyone in tier 4, which means anyone who is in Oxfordshire I will not be able to collect or deliver to you until the tiers change, I’m totally gutted as I know a lot of you guys have got me booked in for collections over the next few weeks! So I’m sorry guys! 😢

Regardless of this news I hope everyone of my lovely customers have a very happy and healthy Christmas!! Guys please stay safe! I hope to see you all very soon!

Hi all! Another update from me... Scarlett starts school on Monday!! 🙌🏻 so I will be back to work on Monday evening, 😁😁 I have had a few messages already, but if you would like a collection next week, please message me and I will book you in! Thanks all for your support over the past few months! Can’t wait to get back into the swing of things again! 😊 xx

Hi all... I Hope you are well,

This morning I have been working on a return to work plan, I hope to hear from scarletts school as soon as possible, but I wanted to be prepared before I have a date to return to work, so here is my plan, it can be and probably will be tweaked as we go along,

Collections:
- I will anti bac my hands before and after each collection

- I will wipe Basket rim with anti bac wipes before I touch it

- I will only be doing doorstep collections, I will have no contact with customer, unless it is at two meters apart and that will be the customers choice, I will knock on the door to let you know I am there and I will not pick up the basket unless the door is closed,

- I will text each customer when I am leaving the collection before them, to give you time to put your ironing outside

- I will not collect if customer or anyone in the household if feeling unwell,

Deliveries:
- I will anti bac hands before and after each delivery

-I will wipe basket rim with anti bac wipes once I have put it on the doorstep

- Hanging items (if possible to be kept to a minimum by the customer) will be hung on a pop up hanging rail that will be wiped with anti bac wipes before customer takes items

- Door step drop offs, I will remain two meters away until I know that the customer has taken ironing into the house safely,

- Contactless payments; I will only be accepting payments buy bank transfer, I will no longer be accepting cash payments

I hope this will help keep yourselves and me safe at this time, and as soon as I have more info from scarletts school I will update you all on dates I will return,
