On this job the carbon monoxide alarm was going off. It turned out the chimney was completely blocked. This means the carbon monoxide from the gas fire will not be able to escape in the correct way.

The chimney is now completely unblocked and the carbon monoxide can now go out of the chimney in the way it should do.

Carbon monoxide alarms are about £20 to buy in hardware shops. They are often overlooked by customers. This is a reminder how these little devices can save you.
