When you’re looking for a chimney sweep, there are really only three considerations:
◾How much will it cost?
◾How much mess will there be?
◾Will it be done properly? There are chimney sweeps out there who charge over £100 for one chimney, but for a standard sweep our price has never exceeded £49.50. A standard chimney sweep is when there are no major blockages and no requirement to go up on to the

roof. We sweep the chimney, carry out a smoke draw test (to ensure the smoke is drawn up the chimney and out of the top) and provide a full safety certificate. We’ll also be happy to offer any advice or questions while we’re there – if we can’t answer something specific, we can usually put you in touch with someone who can.
