Today the team attended a call out in the Sunderland area.

Rats have been reported within the property.

Upon inspection a broken vent was found…
But rats were in fact leaving the sewer system from a disjointed drain and using the broken vent to gain access to the property.

Measures now in place and a plan to stop the issue now in motion.

Today the team attended a job in the Middlesbrough area.

Rats heard within the loft space, a run was found going from bags into the insulation along with droppings.

Externally 2 potential entry points found, as you can see a gully has been covered and the bricks are starting to drop, a burrow found next to this and also a gap going into the cavity wall out the back.

Treatment now underway to remove pest issues.

Multiple potential entry points were found across the site which can lead to rodent infestations if left as they are.

A plan now in place to protect the premises against future rodent issues.

A callout to a job yesterday in the stockon area.

Rats were heard under the stairs, upon inspection they had gnawed through a sink pipe and also a water pipe which the tenant fixed. The rats had also stockpiled dog treats under the kitchen units.

Droppings found in the loft and under the kitchen units.

Root cause traced to the drainage system.

A riddance programme now underway and relevant measures in place to remove rats from the property.
