The biggest nest that we've treated so far this year...... Around the size of a melon and FULL of angry little seeds!

Another day, another nest. Fortunately there was plenty of activity outside to answer anyone to the presence of the nest. STILL not nice to run underneath it to get into the tac room knowing it was there! No other way in or out.

The contents of a nest that we recently removed from a house. This one was left untreated so was able to complete its life cycle. You can tell this from the size of the cells in the upper two tiers of nest. These cells are bigger so will have been built to house the grubs of this year's Queens before they flew off to find a nesting site of their own!

Each of those larger cells is potentially a new wasp's nest this year! 😁
