💙💙💙
Good Morning 💙
Yesterday was our Annual Tobias Crowther Open Golf Day 💙
Once again I sit here writing this post, absolutely overwhelmed and not knowing where to begin.
The day itself was amazing, and yet again Toby did not let us down with the weather ☀️, The wobbly walk, Total Warrior, Shelf Gala and for the second year running the Golf Day, have actually been perfect weather days in and amongst some other crazy weather. That’s just Toby all over 💙
Back to the golf ⛳️ - we had 106 players making up 26 teams, dress up and show up as once again we took over Willow Valley.
Again, Willow Valley’s hospitality was second to none and without doubt helped the day run so smoothly so a massive thank you to them.
Thank you to RD Groundwork’s, Spaniard Hall, Nathan Hadfield Utilities and Bridges Fitness Centre for sponsoring the the prize money and to Morley Blinds amongst others who provided us with raffle prizes 💙
A massive thank you to 56 local businesses that sponsored a hole, this got our amount raised off to a flying start and is appreciated more than you know (tried to tag as many as possible but Facebook can’t find everyone, please like and follow our page to see your name in the lights it deserves 💙)
The bookies - Jo and Claire on Championship and Sally and Paula on Pine, thank you for being a part of the day, remember everyone the bookie is always the winner 💰 , another £560 towards our total 💙
The beer buggies, Julie & Michelle, Glenn & Adele, Sally and Paula thank you for keeping the players hydrated and fed 🥟 on course 🍻.
To all the players who took part - without you the day wouldn’t happen, we appreciate you entering the competition, taking time off work, buying raffle tickets, providing 4 x balls and prizes from your own clubs, entering all the other bits and bobs, bidding in the auction etc, the list is just endless - Thank you
Dave Garth (what a guy) for providing us with the majority of the auction items, sponsoring holes and being one of our main sponsors, we appreciate you more than you know 💙
And last but not least as I’m sure along the way someone somewhere has been forgotten so I apologise in advance, but to Nigel and Pete for organising such a fantastic event that ran like clockwork and raised what we believe to be somewhere between £8000 & £9000 - THANK YOU 🤩
Our next event in 4 weeks time will be the open water 🏊♀️ and we’d love it if you could join us, for more info please get in touch or see our previous posts.
And then it will be time to get the BALL 🪩 💃 🕺 rolling for our final event of the year.
