This little guy is a carpet beetle …..

They don't just hang out in your carpets though.... They can be found in lots of places in your house.

They have a varied diet (fibres, detritus, cereals, feathers) and this particular guy was hanging out in a bathroom.

Of course we can help remove these from your home with our fogging/ spraying programs.

Did you know :

🐝 Bees are crucial to our eco systems.

🐝 Almost 90% of wild plants and 75% of leading global crops depend on animal pollination.

🐝 One out of every three mouthfuls of our food depends on pollinators such as bees.

🐝 Bumble bees especially are key pollinators of fruit and vegetables.

🐝 There are about 240 + species of solitary bees.

🐝 Honey bees are fab flyers. They fly at a speed of approximately 15 - 20 mph ( a bit slower when they’re laden up with pollen )

🐝We took the decision as pest controllers that we wouldn’t be killing any species of bee.

🐝What we will do though, is put you in touch with a fab bee keeper who knows everything there is to know about bees and has the expertise in dealing with swarms/hives/nests.

At this time of year you might see some Queen wasps hanging around, looking for somewhere to build a nest.
Queen wasps are pretty big compared to worker wasps.

She may have already started building her nest and it will probably resemble the size of a grape to a small golf ball.

It s a few weeks till wasp season will be in full swing, but if you have any questions or you find a nest, get in touch and we can help.
