Firstly I would like to thank all of our customers for supporting us this year, and wish you all a merry Christmas. But on a serious note, I have noticed lots of adverts from "The seasonal" carpet cleaners offering unbelievable deals for very little cost. Unfortunately these fly by night companies are here today and gone tomorrow, and in most instances your carpet and underlay are ruined.
My advice to existing and potential new customers is please do your research and don't plump for the cheapest deal. Ask yourself are they insured, have they had the correct training, what equipment are they using. One in particular I have seen is using a little Karcher hobby machine, but they are offering out of this world deals. At this time of year it's easy to go for a cheap deal, but as in the past we have done so many jobs where the customer has used one of these companies and told us, the carpet was still wet after a few days, and smells like a damp dog. I don't want to sound pompus, but carpets are not cheap to replace, and yes there are lots of Good local cleaning companies out there. Please, Please look at their feedback, message them and ask what their process is and what products they use. Sorry for the essay, but I see it every year, and more so this year.
