The past 2 weeks have been particularly challenging for us workwise.

Along with the increasing demand for our services, we were asked by LHP to help an elderly customer of ours move into a new flat, due to safety concerns.

On Wednesday, with the help of two wonderful ladies & a couple of strong guys from LHP, we got the job done.

For those of you who have ever had to move house, you will know just how stressful & overwhelming the whole process can be.

So imagine being almost 98, recently losing your wife & having no real family support to help you.

Ken was a Royal Marine Commando for 18 years & described having to move as more scary than some of the missions he was sent on 😢

It was hard work, physically & mentally, but incredibly rewarding job to see the smile on Ken's face 😀

This is one of those situations that proves we never have been & never will be "just cleaners".

Huge thanks to Alison Kirk for giving up a days holiday to help & for continuing to look out for Ken.

We did our very best to shield him from all the anxiety & stress.

Here's me & Ali with Ken, all settled in his new home 🥰

On this day 6 years ago, I decided to go it alone & start working for myself.

I now have a team of 8, over 90 customers & love my job more than ever.

Thank you to those who have supported me during this time, including my amazing team of ladies Julia Wilson, Louise Peterson Butler, Sharon Wellham, Sharon Sutcliffe, Alison Kirk, Elizabeth Pearson & our newest recruit Jess Welsh.

I wouldn't be where I am today without you all, I'm so proud of what we have achieved.
