I always share the good, the bad, and everything in between 🤍 Over the last few months, I haven't been feeling good at all. The fatigue, pain, lack of energy... I just knew something wasn't right.
After a number of blood tests by my amazing gp, they came back normal. I was referred back to oncology to see what's causing these issues.
Recently had my routine surveillance mammogram. It came back clear, thank F!! Then came the full body scan which floored us."They've found a lesion on your liver"
After everything we've already been through, our minds went straight to the worst case scenario. They advised to have an MRI with contrast, as it's much more detailed for looking at the liver. Going for the scan i got so paranoid for good images, I stripped down to me thong and put a gown on incase my clothing had any metal 🤦🏼♀️
I had an appointment with oncology yesterday and the words "All your scans are good" You have an area of fatty liver. Not cancer!! I immediately hugged him! This is the oncologist that I was raving to at a charity ball a while back🤦🏼♀️ there's a post on this.
I'm sharing because so many of us know what it's like to hear these scary medical words and immediately fear the worst. Also TNBC you know the gloomy info out there, i hope this gives you hope (2 years in remission) Thank you to everyone who have sent messages, helped and shown nothing but love. It means more than you'll ever know ❤️
