Office Administrator / Manager
We’re looking for an office administrator / manager to join our small team. For the most part you’ll be responsible for taking in bookings from customers by phone and by email, explaining our services to them, issuing invoices via our bespoke job management software (Big Change) and scheduling work. On top of that, you’ll deal with ad-hoc enquiries, keep our website up-to-date, manage supplier invoices and payments, keep on top of office supplies and all the other tasks that crop up in office management.
This role reports to the two company directors, Kevin and Keith, and is based at our office at Achnagonalin Industrial Estate, Grantown-on-Spey. We’re a small company that prioritises customer service and the thing that unites us is a ‘get things done’ attitude. We need somebody who will be a positive, proactive member of the team. The directors are in and out of the office most days, so you’ll need to be comfortable working alone and making some decisions. Training will be provided.
We’re looking for somebody with proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or office manager. You’ll need to be comfortable in Outlook, Word and Excel and with learning to use Big Change. It’s also important that you give our customers a great experience over the phone and by email – repeat business is our bread and butter.
This is ideally a full-time position, from 9am – 5pm, but don’t let this put you off if everything else about the position sounds right. For the right candidate, we can offer flexibility around working hours, start and finish times, as well as the option to work from home to some degree.
