A study at Birmingham University found that 60% of teens heading to Uni didn’t know how to do laundry**….
Life skills are so important and often overlooked in favour of academia…. It’s really quick to wash and dry at our launderette …on average less than an hour for up to 5 loads in one machine…so no real time for them to get bored. Pop in and teach them a little life skill this holiday.

It’s a bit cold to be in this much need to do the laundry today …. If everything you have needs washing then maybe head to the launderette to use one of our huge washing machines & dryers ( holding up to 5 standard loads) … and you’ll be back with a fully freshly laundered wardrobe ready to tackle the week in around an hour

It’s Cowes Week once again & the Solent is brimming with sails…. Back in the 1600s laundry day aboard a ship comprised often of dragging the laundry in a huge net bag behind the ship to agitate them & hanging them along the rigging to dry….. what a sight to behold…. And what a huge job…..Thankfully washing and drying in our local launderette using one of our super extra large 5 load machines takes on average around an hour….. and clothes don’t come out in salt patches….

According to health experts, In hot weather, due to sweating & also damp / heat increasing the spread of allergens and bacteria… bedding should be washed every 3-7 days.
Pop in to the launderette and use our large, quick washers and dryers to get them all washed and dried in an hour ready to put back in the bed…. Fresh and clean…. Or opt for a service was & leave them with our lovely ladies to do for you.
