Well, another week draws to a close......📆
Admin done, and everything ready for tomorrow when I get back to it 🛠️🎩🧹
I had a couple of cracking jobs during the week which have a huge visual impact on completion of the required works -
1️⃣ - A free standing log burner shown some love, and the external surfaces given a polish to revive it after its yearly sweep.
2️⃣ - Then another log burner, this time an 'inset' type, whose internal fire bricks had seen better days, so needed replacing along with its door seal once the yearly sweep had been conducted.
I then met a rather 'shouty black cloud', that despite the noise he makes, just wants to be your best mate😂
And then a Customer who knows I like a chocolate hob-nob, gave me the whole pack to take away....👌 😂😂 cheers Mrs M😎👍
On that note, I do like a Suzuki GSX 1400, and the MK Indy kit car.....just sayin'😉😉
I was also taught how to use the 'capcut' video editing app by the fabulous owner of 22Midnight, (who incidentally sponsored the 'Best Independent Business Awards') hence why i posted the video yesterday as a trial......😬🤓
I then finished the week with a Saturday job, which is a rare thing for me to be working a Saturday, however, with relatively stable weather, it was the ideal opportunity as it involved getting up on a roof, to install a cap to a redundant flue, and then a stainless steel bird guard on a live flue, to prevent birds dropping down into their open fire.
With the conclusion being the consuming of a fantastic bacon ciabatta with garlic butter, and a cracking coffee at Explorer Coffees
So, this coming week......🤔
I've got sweeps to do Monday, and then, two weeks off over Easter👌👌
Not gonna lie, I'm looking forward to a break, although we're not going anywhere. So, there's a good chance you may see me out and about running in my distinctive bright orange 'Sunrise Chimney Sweeps' running vest.
