This was a nice challenging job carried out the other day on a lovely little old cottage.
The very old cast iron gutters were really past it and with the loose, rusty brackets pulling out of the brickwork, it was all quite unsafe and ready fall down‼️

New galvanized rise and fall brackets installed and pointed in with a lime mortar. Black half round UPVC gutters, hopper and downpipe fitted.

Nice fresh look✔️

Easy maintenance ✔️

Safe and secure ✔️

It's always amusing when you come across an old time bodge like this one the other day!
Bits of gutter on top of more gutter and probably a full tube of adhesive here - must've worked for a while 😆
Nice little fix, just cut a new piece of gutter in, new rubber seals and all joined up nicely.
Tested and leak free ✔️

I like to repair where possible, not always possible but nice when you can de-bodge a bodge!

Nice replacement job today, just about managed to stay dry (ish) 😁 ☔️

Old gutters had seen better days, definitely time for a renewal.
Fascias and soffits cleaned as well to give a nice fresh look - and no more annoying leaks.
