Sunday morning excursion to Whitminster to watch Dan run the Stroud half marathon!! Dry but windy out there. He completed it in 1:51:35 which is over a minute faster than last year. Good work Dan. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Wet, cold end to the week but still a good week. 🌧️❄️🌧️

Me and Leo had a road trip into Warwickshire then back past Cheltenham races. 🚙🚶🏽

Dan, Duke and Archie were round Gloucester. 🚙🐕‍🦺🚶🏽

Fortunately, my wife had the fire out when I got home so I could warm up and dry out. Call us to get booked in. We have limited appointments available in December now. 📞📞📞

More chimney inspections today. This one following reports of smoke leaking into another room. You can see part of the masonry flue has a hole in it probably causing the leak. The solution is to reline the chimney. 🔥🔥🔥

Another chimney inspection today. This is a pumice lined flue in an old country house. Very good flue system but expensive to install. If used correctly and regularly swept, it should last as long as the house. 🔥🔥🔥

Call us to bet your inspection booked. 📞📞📞

This is an old design for the top of the chimney to reduce the rain getting in. Quite a feat getting it built like that. Interesting to see some newly built houses have this type of detail on their chimneys. 🔥🔥🔥
