What's going on here?

New tenants had moved in and immediately noticed an unpleasant odour in the front room.

We went in and carried out a full survey, including lifting the carpet. This revealed several areas of contamination down to the underlay & subfloor.

In this instance, our prescription was:

Lift carpet/ remove and discard contaminated underlay
Disinfect subfloor
Replace underlay
Clean underside of carpet in affected areas
Refit carpet
Deep clean entire carpet with disinfecting solution

Problem solved ✅
