​A maintenance wash, or service wash, is a vital part of keeping your appliance running smoothly! It helps to:

​Prevent bad odours: Get rid of the build-up of detergent, grime, and bacteria that can cause a smelly machine. 👃

​Prolong its lifespan: Clear out residue and limescale that can clog up pipes and filters, preventing costly repairs down the line. 💸

​Keep clothes cleaner: Ensure your machine is truly clean so it can do its job effectively. 🧼

​Our advice?
​For most households, we recommend doing a maintenance wash at least once a month.
​How to do it:
​Set your machine to its hottest cycle (usually 90°C).
​Add a dedicated washing machine cleaner, or a simple solution like a cup of white vinegar to the drum.

Bottom Rack
​This is where the heaviest and dirtiest items go, as the bottom spray arm generally has the most powerful water pressure.🚿🚿
​Plates: Place dinner plates, platters, and large bowls between the tines. Angle them downward toward the center. 🍽🍽
​Pots and Pans: Load them upside down and on the sides or back of the rack so they don't block the water flow to other dishes.

​Top Rack
​The top rack is for smaller, lighter, and more delicate items.
​Glasses and Mugs: Place these upside down between the tines, not on top of them, to ensure they are secure. Angle them slightly to prevent water from pooling on the bottom. 🥛🥃🍷🍺
​Bowls: Load small bowls between the tines, angled downward. Avoid "nesting" or overlapping them. 🥣
