If you're not going to the show but traveling to Bishopbriggs, we advice you to go via kirkintilloch as we have been stuck in traffic on the balmore road for nearly 20 mins to get to the Torrance roundabout.

Not the best of days but if you wrap up warm and take an umbrella and a heavy jacket I'm sure you'll still have a good time at the show.

Friends of Campsie High Kirk has a community conversation at the Campsie Memorial Hall tonight (Thursday 4th June) at 7pm.

If your free and interested in what's happening at the high kirk, why not pop along and hear their plans, share your vehicles and help put the beating heart back into Lennoxtown.

Another late night and a double recovery with 2 vehicles recovered back from Fintry for checks into issues and faults.

Lucky for the first one we had the tiny dinky speclift to hand as the vehicles brakes are seized and we had to lift it from the position it was in. Would have been difficult to get it out of this space if we didn't have our little truck to help us out. Up the customer driver, into position, loaded and away... job was complete with ease.

The second job luckily the vehicle still had some drive to allow us to load on the roadside and then offload on the roadside at the other end too.

Now it's time for dinner.

Everyone knows fuel costs have been rising quickly since the beginning of March, but have finally came to a freeze over the past mid April to May and have even finally seen some drops over the past weeks. We have had quite a few customers checking fuel price apps online to see where the best prices are or keeping an eye on what prices are locally and then arriving on sites to find the price on the pole sign is different from what the apps are saying.

The reason for this is that some petrol apps allow prices to be updated by members of the public, so they aren’t always 100% accurate.

UK fuel stations are now required to submit their fuel prices to a government data service, and the site below pulls directly from that official source. That means the prices shown should generally be more accurate and up to date than apps that rely on manual public updates providing the garages have updated the prices correctly.

With everything that has been going on over the past month, we haven't really been in the right frame of mind for advertising or posting on Facebook, aside from sharing important information with everyone. However, behind the scenes, we've been keeping busy and continuing to serve our community with the best service possible, as we always do.

We've had quite a lot going on, so here's a quick update on some of the things we've been working on:

Our Infinity Wax range is coming to an end, and we're offering up to 20% off nearly all Infinity Wax products, including 5L containers. Once they're gone, they're gone, so grab them while you can!

This brings us to our next bit of news – we now stock a brand-new range of car care products from YUM. Pop into the store and check out the full range available.

🔧 Busy Workshop & Tyre Fitting Service
Our workshop has been busy with a variety of jobs recently, and our tyre fitting service has been especially popular. Here's a Ford Transit we fitted with a new commercial tyre before the customer headed down south for work.

🚛 Recovery Service Update
Our recovery service has also been extremely busy this past month. Although our phone lines normally close at 10pm, we've attended recoveries as late as midnight because we never like to leave a customer stranded if we're able to help. If you find yourself broken down or in need of vehicle recovery, give us a call or send us a message on Facebook Messenger.

🌱 Plant Sales
Our plants have been selling well as usual, and we still have a selection available, along with compost and topsoil.

Just a reminder we will be closed on Tuesday 26th May all day. We will be open until 6pm tomorrow (Monday 25th) and reopen again Wednesday 27th.

We know a few people can’t make the funeral that would have liked to be with us on the day, or may only be attending one part of the service, whether that be the church service or the Crematorium, so we’ve included the links below for our mum’s funeral on Tuesday 26th May.

There will be a collection in aid of Marie Curie for those who wish to donate.

The Hearse will leave the garage between 9.30am and 9.40am heading to the church.
