In the southside, nothing says it's nearly Christmas time more than the arrival of the Transylvania Shop and Cafe's now famous display.

Every year for the holidays, Daniel E Radu and partner Alex bring a little bit of magic to Victoria Road, transforming their popular corner of Govanhill into a festive display that literally stops people in their tracks.

Daniel said: "We are proud to bring a piece of our culture, our traditions, and our heart to this community we now call home. Glasgow has given us so much, and this is our way of giving something back — a bit of joy, a bit of colour, a bit of Christmas magic."
