Why do your towels sometimes come out stiff and scratchy? 🤔

Freshly washed towels should feel lovely and soft, right? So why do they sometimes feel more like sandpaper?

✨ HERE’S WHY!

🧴 Too much detergent can leave residue trapped in the fibres.

🧺 Overloading the washing machine can prevent towels from rinsing properly.

🌬️ Drying conditions can affect how soft or stiff your towels feel.

💡 OUR TOP TIP: Use the recommended amount of detergent, avoid overloading your machine and tumble dry your towels in the wonderful dryers at Bells Launderette. The warm, powerful airflow helps dry them thoroughly and leaves them feeling soft, fluffy and fresh!

And remember, fabric conditioner isn’t always the answer! Too much can reduce the absorbency of towels over time.
