First roof in a year after shoulder surgery , serious amount of moss removed and just to apply the biocide 🥊💪

Customer opted for a scrape only and no biocide option on this difficult roof , took around 6 hours with a conservatory just under the left of the slates so it all had to be scraped at an angle but job done TF😂

Doesn’t look much but spent just over 5 hours scrapping this down

Heavy moss removed, took over 4 hours to scrape the moss off , scraping removes around 85-90 percent of what’s up there and the rest is left to the biocide which I have still to apply

Biocide then kills everything up there where the scraper couldn’t get to and should just wash away , results take 6 to 8 weeks depending on how bad it was and leaves it protected for around 4 years

I always stress it’s not power washed in any way as the slate manufacturers don’t recommend that process

Pic 1 , Roof clean , scraped down 50/50 split and just waiting to apply the biocide ,pic 2 , biocide applied which will take all the remaining algi etc off which is in the groves and edges of the tiles where the scraper can’t get to 👍 , it takes a few weeks for the bio to properly kick in

50/50 split on upvc clean
