I just finished sweeping a chimney for a couple who recently bought their dream home.
The previous owners told them it had been cleaned '6 months ago'… turns out, that was wishful thinking.
Thick, glazed creosote buildup was already coating the flue—classic recipe for a chimney fire waiting to ignite. 😬
