MUST HOLD FULL UK DRIVERS LICENSE AND HAVE OWN VEHICLE.
This job will involve travelling between customer locations within approx. 20 mile radius of Gainford.
HOURS: Guaranteed 6 hours per week to start to increase to a minimum of 15 hours after probationary period ends.
PAY: National Living Wage (currently £8.91 for those over 23y.)
National Minimum Wage for those under 23y: £8.36
Applicants under 21y will be paid our minimum rate of £6.56p/hr.
IN ADDITION, A MILEAGE ALLOWANCE WILL BE PROVIDED.
We regularly reward our staff with cash bonuses for good work.
JOB DETAILS:
you will be expected to perform all aspects of professional cleaning inside and outside customer properties. On occasion, laundry duties will be required at the main office. Some light paperwork will be required (eg. time sheets, task completion and other paperwork, such as fire alarm checks etc.)
As a driver, you will be expected to collect and return your team members from the main office, except when working alone as may be required from time to time.
You will be expected to complete mileage logs and submit them to the office in order to receive the mileage allowance.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
No qualifications or experience is required as full training will be provided. If you do have any relevant qualifications and/or experience this will not be treated as preferable over those that don't but we would still love to hear about it!
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must be a full license holder and own or have use of a car or van for work purposes.
Must be reliable, trustworthy, flexible and efficient and have the ability to pay attention to detail.
Due to the nature of our work, and the way holiday let bookings come in, there will be a requirement to work at short notice on occasion (eg. last minute bookings for the following day). Our rota is constantly changing as these last minute bookings come in!
HOURS OF WORK:
Normal hours of work are between 9am and 3pm Mon to Sat. (Sunday's we are closed.) You may on occasion be required to work later than 3pm. There is flexibility in our schedule to work around school run hours if you have children in school.
Friday working is a MUST during high season- it is our busiest day of the week!
HOLIDAYS:
the holiday allowance is 5 weeks a year. Bank Holidays are treated as normal working days.

The business is growing rapidly with a waiting list for holiday let customers, we fully expect to be able to offer 16 - 30 hours a week to those that want it by the end of this year!
