🎉 3 Years of Alloy Wheel Medic 🎉

Three years ago, Paul took a leap of faith that he could build something he had no business in doing.

After leaving a successful career in car dealer management, he converted an old ambulance into a mobile repair van and started Alloy Wheel Medic from the ground up — having never even lifted a paint gun.

A year later came the first major investment: the DCR Pro diamond cut lathe. Since then, the business has cut just under 4,000 wheels, each one representing graft, growth, and progress.

At the start of year two, Zack joined the team — having previously worked for Paul during their time in dealer management. His work ethic, standards, and mindset aligned perfectly, and together they’ve built a strong foundation based on trust, precision, and a shared drive to deliver the best. Zack’s commitment and consistency have been instrumental in taking Alloy Wheel Medic to the next level.

Fast forward to today:
🚐 Three vans on the road
👨‍🔧 A new trainee wheel tech, Kyle
🏭 A new 5,000 sq ft workshop
💎 And nearly 4,000 wheels cut and counting

To mark our third birthday, Alloy Wheel Medic has invested heavily in the latest diamond cutting technology — the stunning Micro 24. This new machine is a genuine game changer, allowing us to deliver an even higher level of quality, precision, and consistency than ever before. It pushes the standard of what can be achieved in mobile and workshop diamond cutting — and we’re proud to be leading that evolution.

A special mention goes to Paul’s wife, who continues to work tirelessly behind the scenes — from jumping on the vans when pressure’s on (which is most days 😂), to keeping the home and family running, and keeping the team fed while the business continues to grow.

To all our new customers, our loyal repeat clients, and those we’ve yet to meet — thank you for being part of the journey so far.

Based in Penkridge | Covering the West Midlands
Full-Time | Competitive Salary Offered + Full Training Provided

Are you practical, reliable, and looking to learn a hands-on trade with a growing mobile alloy wheel repair company? We’re Alloy Wheel Medic, specialists in mobile diamond-cut alloy wheel refurbishment, and we’re looking for a motivated Trainee Wheel Technician to join our team.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing:
• Assisting with the repair and diamond cutting of alloy wheels using state-of-the-art mobile equipment
• Prepping wheels, removing tyres, and helping with vehicle setup on-site
• Learning to operate the DCR Pro diamond cutting lathe (full training provided)
• Driving to customer locations across the West Midlands (must hold a full UK driving licence)
• Working alongside experienced technicians and eventually progressing to independent work

💼 What We’re Looking For:
• A hands-on, practical individual with attention to detail
• Someone keen to learn a specialist skill in the automotive industry
• Physically fit – you’ll be working on your feet and lifting wheels
• A team player with a professional and respectful attitude
• Full UK driving licence essential

🎓 What We Offer:
• Competitive salary with regular reviews
• Full training with progression to lead technician
• Supportive team environment
• Real career progression in a niche, growing trade
• Opportunity to gain experience across the region
