Here is part 2 of our how to make your own Iron Man Survival Blanket - Binding your clear waste plastic onto your blanket. ✅️

All plastic used needs to be clear plastic without any colours, this is very important! More colour = More toxins❎️

Your plastic should be as thin as a bread bag for example.

You will find if your plastic is too thick. It will crack and take longer to fuse to the blanket✳️

⚠️cling film/wrap is too thin & the plastic that Beds and carpet comes in is too thick to fuse. ♻️

Remember we want a fuse not a burn.✅️

Use a well ventilated area and a mask is recommended⛔️

This week we have been very busy here at the Iron Man! ✅️

We have new cash donation pots, new posters, new donation stations set up and lots of support from you guys! We have had messages from people wanting to collect crisp packets, make there own blankets and set up there own Iron Man in there community.

CALLING ALL CRISP LOVERS❗️

Did you know it takes 80 years for a crisp packet to decompose? Did you know that 150 of them can be ironed together and turned into a survival blanket for a homeless person and will help to keep their sleeping bag dry and insulated?

The Iron Man are back and doing what we do best COLLECTING CRISP PACKETS TO MAKE SURVIVAL BLANKETS.

If you can collect them between now and Christmas we would be happy to take them off you hands! (Preferably washed first in warm soapy water)

⚠️OUR DONATION STATIONS ARE OPENING NOVEMBER 3⚠️

Everyone has noticed the price of living has gone up recently. The price of bills, food & daily living has hit a high point with Gas & Energy reaching prices we have never seen before! With Many of us having to rely on friends, family & organisations to help meet our needs We are asking you to take a second to think about what it's like for those who do not have that option.

Here at the Iron man we understand, and we are all here to try to support and help everyone who may need it! We are not just saving crisp packets from wonderful people all over the country for the 3rd year in a row! WE ARE SAVING LIVES ❄️
