Just a little note to say thanks to everyone for all the support last week with our World Cup on the big screen nights!

While the numbers weren't huge, we made some lovely new friends and had a great time! We hope to do lots more with the community over time, small beginnings 😊

Join us for our Town Centre Litter Pick!

During our recent community consultation, one message came through loud and clear - the high street needs a good clean!

Now it's time to do something about it together.

📅 Sunday 26th July
🕘 9:00am – 12:00pm

We'll be meeting outside The Old Brewhouse before working our way through the High Street, Guthrie Port and surrounding streets, helping give our town centre the clean-up it deserves.

Arbroath's fantastic local litter picking groups are joining us, and we'd love to see as many members of the community as possible come along too.

As a thank you to everyone who volunteers, we'll finish at 8 Grant Road (Angus Carers building) where there'll be tea, coffee and home bakes waiting.

If you've been thinking about getting involved, this is a great opportunity. Whether you can spare the full morning or just part of it, it's appreciated.

This is just the start. After this, we'll soon be organising deep cleaning like de-weeding, painting and powerwashing to help make our town centre a place we can all be proud of.

🌟 A huge thank you to another of our amazing MoFest High Street contributors, James Anderson and his fantastic team! 🌟

When James contacted us and kindly offered to provide fire safety support free of charge, we were incredibly grateful and, of course, accepted. What we didn’t expect was the incredible level of support that followed.

James and his team stayed with us throughout the entire day, helping to ensure traffic management was running smoothly, keeping an eye on the event, and even getting involved in a huge amount of litter picking.

Their hard work, dedication, and willingness to help wherever needed made a real difference to the success of MoFest. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to leave the High Street clean, tidy, and looking as though we’d never been there.

Community events like MoFest simply couldn’t happen without people like James and his team, who go above and beyond to support local organisations and bring people together.

We’re pleased to be supporting the Montrose Music Fest High Street event this Saturday with our Event Fire Safety Service.

Be sure to check out Montrose Music Festival for the full packed timetable this weekend — it’s shaping up to be an amazing festival!

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has issued wildfire warnings across Scotland from Thursday 28 May to Monday 1 June.

This includes, from Friday to Monday, there will be a very high risk of wildfire in the East of Scotland.
